In-between
About
The land art sculpture ‘In-between’ explores the concept of duality through its use of natural materials and geometric shapes. By juxtaposing the landscape’s soft curves with the sculpture’s hard lines, the artwork highlights the tension between nature and human intervention. At the same time, the piece also suggests a sense of harmony and balance, as the sculpture blends seamlessly into the surrounding environment. ‘In-between’ invites viewers to reflect on the complex relationship between humanity and nature, and the delicate balance that exists between the two.

In-between
At first glance, the sculpture appears to be a stark contrast to the natural environment that surrounds it. Its clean lines and sharp angles stand in opposition to the soft, flowing curves of the earth. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that the sculpture is not meant to be a symbol of human dominance over nature. Instead, it serves as a bridge between these two opposing forces, creating a space in-between where they can coexist in harmony.
The “In-between” sculpture also plays with the duality of tangibility and intangibility. While the sculpture itself is a tangible object that can be seen and touched, its effect on the environment is intangible. Its presence creates a shift in the viewer’s perception of the landscape, blurring the line between what is natural and what is artificial. Standing on the edge between realities.
